Powerclass ECU VAG – Edit Bosch immobilizer values MEDC17 / PCR2.1 / MED9.x

Description

The Powerclass ECU VAG service allows editing of immobilizer values from the ECU file to correctly adapt second-hand units to your vehicle. It is the recommended solution when replacing the ECU and want to avoid complete immobilizer deactivation (immo OFF).

The Powerclass value is essential for compatibility with the dashboard and the rest of the CAN network. A mismatch can generate start-up errors or ECU lock-up. Our intervention allows the original coding to be preserved, without compromising security.

Supported ECUs:

• Bosch MEDC17 – Powerclass in Flash (Flash file required)

• Simos PCR2.1 – Powerclass in EEPROM (Flash + EEPROM required)

• Bosch MED9.x – Powerclass and distributed CS (Flash + EEPROM required)

What files need to be submitted:

• MEDC17: file only Flash

• PCR2.1 / MED9.x: both files – Flash + EEPROM
  It is important that the files are read correctly, completely and not corrupted. Without one of them, the modification cannot be made.
