Description
What is crash data?
Upon impact or airbag/pretensioner deployment, the airbag control unit (ACU) stores the event as "crash data" and may lock the system. Properly resetting this data returns the module to a functional state (where possible) without replacing the unit.
What do we do?
-
Diagnosis and reset of "crash data" on the original airbag module
-
Memory integrity checks (where applicable)
-
Bench testing (where possible) before return
IMPORTANT – BEFORE ORDERING (required):
-
Communicate year and the model the car.
-
send a clear picture of the module label or the exact part number.
-
Tell us briefly symptoms/error codes (if you have them).
Safety instructions – disassembly, shipping, reassembly
Disassembly (performed by qualified personnel only):
-
Disconnect the terminal minus of the battery and waits 10–15 minutes before touching the airbag connectors.
-
Follow the manufacturer's procedures to avoid accidental triggering.
-
Handle the connectors carefully (without forcing the clips); mark the orientation of the module.
-
DO NOT turn on the ignition and DO NOT fuel the vehicle. none Airbag connector disconnected.
-
Comply with ESD (electrostatic discharge) regulations where applicable.
Packaging and shipping:

-
Includes a ticket with: NAMEs, PHONE, car data, part number, symptoms/errors and return address.
-
Send to VisionGarage (Arad) by courier with trackable AWB.
Reassembly:
-
Mount the module in its original position and orientation; tighten the screws according to the manufacturer's specifications.
-
Reconnect the connectors until they click; reconnect the battery at the end.
-
Clear errors with a compatible tester; perform a full scan.
-
If the manufacturer requests it, carry out any necessary adaptations/codings after assembly.
What do you get?
-
Reset "crash data" on your original module (where possible)
-
Intervention report (on request)
-
Technical support for repair/error clearing
Note: In rare cases, some modules are irretrievable (severe hardware failure, corrupted memory, water/shock). In such situations we will communicate your options (repair, replacement, cloning – where possible).
